To work in the offshore environment, you must reach a certain standard of fitness.
Therefore, every offshore worker must undergo and pass an Oil & Gas UK (OGUK) Medical examination that ensures you are medically fit to work in the industry.
The OGUK medical certificate has to be renewed every two years, irrespective of the offshore worker’s age, and can be undertaken at the same time as the Emergency Breathing System (EBS) Fit to Train medical.
Photographic Identification – driving license, passport or discharge book.
Please avoid exposure to loud noise 16 hours prior to your medical, as this may impact your thorough hearing test.
Wear comfortable clothes as a step test is sometimes needed as part of the medical.

If you are a contact lens wearer, please wear your glasses on the day.
